Couch to 5k
Would you like to take up running?
Maybe you are lacking in confidence about your ability? Well, at Sherfield Park Runners, all abilities are very welcome.

Many of our current members joined the club after completing previous successful Couch to 5k courses.
​
​We will complete a 9-week walk/run programme in a friendly, gentle-paced way to start your running journey, or return to running.
​​
So what are the benefits of taking part in this course with Sherfield Park Runners?
Socialise
You'll meet like-minded people who all just want to run, make friends and meet new running “buddies”.
Develop
You will be given time to develop stamina and strength and to find out what pace suits you.
Support
We have friendly, qualified leaders who are available for support, guidance and advice for club members.
Value
You will be joining a small running club where our values are friendship, support and no one runs alone.
The sessions will take place on Tuesday evenings, meeting at 18.40hrs at Sherfield Park Community Centre to start running at 18:45pm. We will run in small groups and each session will last around 45 minutes.

The course is timed to coincide with an optional “graduation" run to be held at Basingstoke parkrun.​
